Dark Child Awakens is an anthology based on my experiences and thoughts beginning when I came out.

I was married young and had two children before I realized I was gay. How is that possible you ask?

I ask it too … but it is so.

The poems reflect my feelings at that time, my awakening, the struggle of seeking & being in gay

relationships and the search for love in the gay world.

Many of the poems recall the betrayal, anguish & pain of my childhood.
