Description
The aim of this book was to study the average price of urban plots in Londrina from 2011-2014. Our initial hypothesis was that the east side of Londrina had appreciated more than the other areas of the city in the years 2011-2014, in terms of the price per square metre of unbuilt urban plots. One of the explanations for this increase in value would be the new investments and developments installed in the east, such as the Marco Zero Complex, the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), Londrina’s first planned neighbourhood (Parque Tauá), among others, which boosted the property market. To this end, we carried out a survey of adverts in the Folha de Londrina from 2011 to 2014, in which we consulted the property section of the first Sunday of each month, to find out the price per square metre of plots without buildings in the city of Londrina.
