As parents and caregivers, we experience a variety of different moments with our children. Those ‘monster” moments nearly convince us that God sent them with the primary purpose of punishing us. There are the funny ‘monkey” moments at which we laugh and are amazed at the thoughts in those tiny little heads. But it’s in the treasured ‘angel” moments that we see Jesus himself. During these times, when we look at them as Jesus did, we realize that God is the only perfect parent. He desires the same behaviors from us that we want from our children.
